Southeastern Delaware Artists Studio Tour
Each November, local Delaware artists open their doors to visitors, letting them
take a peak inside the life and mind of the artist and also purchase works. The
tour is free and self-guided. Maps are available at local businesses.
Each December, the Salem United Methodist Church organizes a tour of beautifully
decorated houses to get everyone in the mood for the season. Tickets are $20,
and an optional lunch is available at a local restaurant for $6. It’s a great
way get some holiday cheer.
Throughout the year, the Town Bandstand is center of life in Bethany Beach,
Maryland. Summer brings a wide variety of musical acts and other entertainment
options nearly every night of the week. Shows begin at 7:30, so come on town to
the bandstand while you’re in town for good times and great tunes.
Fourth of July Parade
The Fourth of July Parade in Bethany Beach, Delaware is truly wonderful
experience and offers a great taste of old-time Americana.
Extravagantly-decorated floats and 1,200 kids on bikes decked out in streamers
and flags get everyone in the patriotic mood. When the sun sets, the music
starts and the fireworks go off over the water.
