contemporary updates to fine historical restorations. In fact, we received the
Rehoboth Beach Historical Preservation Award for 2005 for one of our projects.

Birdhaven, Millville, DE
In this house we created a porch, installed siding, created an open great room with high ceilings, a luxurious master bath with a steam shower, and a modern kitchen.
Oceanview Parkway, Bethany Beach, DE
We converted a prefab house from the "railroad car" design the home you see in the final picture.
We added 1280 square feet to this house by adding the first floor. To do so we had a house mover lift the house 13 feet, and then place it on wooden cribbing. We then constructed a first floor, and when the framing was complete, we lowered the house onto the new floor. We also remodeled the interior of the original house, now the second floor, by turning the old living room and kitchen to a master suite, and replaced the wooden paneling with drywall and updated the plumbing fixtures and lighting.
This renovation won the 2006 Renovated House of the Year in Rehoboth. We retained many of the features of the home that were over 150 years old, yet, updated it with a new kitchen, wall partitions, and bath fixutures.
