How do I securely pay for my vacation rental?

At the time of booking we take a security deposit of $1000 with a credit card which is refunded after your stay. We then ask that you send us 50% of the rental cost within a week, and then pay the balance within 90 days of your reservation. If you want to avoid paying the security fee and be able to purchase travel insurance then the home can be rented through Please contact us for the home/listing you are interested in at 302-436-6493.

How can I modify my reservation, and are there any fees associated with that?

Please call us at 302-436-6493 to help you modify your reservation. There could be additional fees depending on the change occurring, but we will walk you through everything before finalizing it.

How old do I need to be to reserve a home?

In order to reserve one of our vacation homes, everyone who is traveling must be at least 21 years old or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Do you have any homes without a two-night minimum stay?

No, this is our minimum stay for all of our homes, and from mid-May until mid-October it is a one-week minimum.

Do I have to check-in by a certain time?

Check-in is at 3 PM and guests can arrive any time after. Off-season early check-in may be available. Please call 302-436-6493 to confirm if available for your stay.

How do I obtain the keys?

We will e-mail you check-in instructions prior to your stay.

What is the cancellation policy?

Should you wish to cancel this reservation for any reason(including bad weather, illness, death or economic factors)notice of cancellation MUST BE IN WRITING. We will attempt to rent the house and if successful , we will refund the sums you have paid, less $250 cancellation fee. If we can rent the house, but at a lower amount, you will be liable for the difference between your weekly rental fee and the new lower rental fee and the cancellation fee. If we do not rent the house and you have paid in full, then we will keep the funds you have paid and return the security deposit. If you have not paid in full , then we will keep all funds paid up to the cost of the rental. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR INCLEMENT WEATHER, INCLUDING HURRICANES,MANDATORY EVACUATIONS,OR STATES OF EMERGENCY.PLEASE CONSIDER GETTING A TRAVEL INSURANCE POLICY TO PROTECT YOU IN CASE OF CANCELLATION.


What happens if there is a hurricane or major storm that forces us to evacuate or not be able to leave the home? Do we get a refund?

No. We ask that you buy travel insurance to cover such circumstances. If booked through you will have the option to purchase travel insurance and see the terms and conditions of this insurance at the time of purchase.

Is smoking allowed in the home?

Smoking is prohibited on the rented premises.

What items can I expect to find in the home?

Please see the features and amenities section of the home listing. We also provide a few items to get you started, including: Paper towels, coffee filters, toilet paper, laundry detergent, fabric softener, dishwashing liquid, kitchen trash bags. If there is something specific that you require, please make sure you bring it with you.

We can’t get the fireplace/internet/hot tub/etc. working. Are there instructions in the house?

You should have received an email from us with check-in instructions. You will have access to all your house instructions at the house. However, if no instructions are found or if you need further assistance please contact one of our Customer Service Agents at 302-436-6493

Can I get a late checkout?

Late check-out is available if we do not have another reservation that night. There may be a fee (plus taxes) associated. The fee varies from house to house. We can tell you if a late check-out is available three days before check-in. If you pay for late check-out you will have the home until 7pm the day you check-out.

What cable package does the home have? Will we be able to watch the game?

The homes have Comcast basic channels. We cannot guarantee Television service, or TV Channel availability, Internet service, etc. From time to time, there will be a service interruption but we will do our best to work with Comcast to resolve the problem. No refunds are issued for cable and internet outages.

If I want to order a movie or a game can I do so and have it charged to my credit card on file?

We will monitor the cable bill and bill you for what you have ordered or if we have your credit card on file we will charge it for any programs ordered during your stay.
